I began a blog post about the successful completion of my 2015 New Year's resolutions. What ended up happening though was an examination of my… interesting… year through the lens of music.
The first thing noticeable by anyone with sweat glands is that it’s so very hot out. The humidity is everglades thick and our shirts are damp before we even get to land. Once there, it’s kind of like a higher class of spring break.
Walking up the narrow road less than 25 steps, we are inundated with tour guide locals. One such gentleman by the name of Kirby stuck to my Dad like white on rice.
I normally would’ve waited before the last minute to text her and make sure she’s on her way, but after a stressful few days preparing for the trip, I wasn’t too worried about it. I’ve got plenty of time and this is a vacation.
There are a hell of a bunch of people here this morning; a solid mix of aspiring actors, SAG members, local professionals, and noobs (like me), just spending the day at fictional cocktail party.
